Pakistan's Ongoing 2 Million Refugee Crisis

Never in human history so many refugees have been created in such a short period of time as in Pakistan. 2 million in ten days. May Allah have mercy on these poor people who are still displaced 2 months later.

Read the tragic story of a family which walked four days to safety and the heroic effort of total strangers in Pakistan who are now taking care of them.

Pakistanis are great. They hosted 5 million Afghan refugees in the last 30 years while America took in only 35,333 refugees during the same period.

Pakistan is the latest victim of Afghan war. Afghans have been the first victims. Afghan live only 44 years while all its neighbors live 20 to 30 year longer. More than a million Afghans have died in the last 30 years of war, 3 million maimed and 7 million became refugees.

Afghan war must be stopped. Pakistan cannot do what US has failed to achieve in the last seven years. The US cannot militarily do what the Soviets failed to do in the 20th century and the British failed to do in the 19th century.
